I’m Richard, a computer systems enthusiast. Originally, I’m a computer science student who wanted to be a data scientist. However, after some self-reflection, I realized that my reason for wanting to be a data scientist was superficial.
Don’t get me wrong, data science is not lame, but whenever I learn data science concepts, I never learn them for curiosity’s sake. On the other hand, I really like engineering. Because of this, in my final year of undergrad, I decided that I’ve had enough and I will stop learning data science-related stuff and start doing what I like instead.
I’m making this blogging site (nothing fancy, I just set up nginx as reverse proxy & used Hugo to generate the static site) to record some interesting things that I learned.
